TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read these terms carefully before using our logistics services

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By accessing and using the services provided by DingShang Logistics ("we," "our," or "us"), you ("customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DingShang Logistics.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.

2. SERVICES DESCRIPTION

DingShang Logistics provides international freight forwarding services including but not limited to:

  • Sea freight (FCL/LCL) from China to USA
  • Air freight services
  • Door-to-door transportation
  • Sea-rail combined transport
  • Customs clearance services
  • Warehousing and distribution

Our services cover major Chinese ports (Ningbo, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Qingdao) to US destinations including Los Angeles, Tacoma, New York, Boston, Miami, Houston, and various inland IPI points.

3. QUOTATION AND PRICING

All quotations are provided based on the information you supply and are valid for 7 days unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change based on:

  • Fuel surcharges imposed by carriers
  • Currency fluctuations
  • Changes in government regulations or taxes
  • Peak season surcharges

Our quotations include all specified charges with no hidden fees. Any additional services requested will be quoted separately and require your approval before implementation.

4. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment terms are as follows:

  • Payment is due 3-7 days before cargo arrival at destination port
  • Payment must be made by telegraphic transfer (T/T)
  • Bank slip must be provided as proof of payment
  • Customs duties are payable as actual and due upon clearance

Failure to make timely payment may result in storage charges, demurrage fees, and potential cargo detention. We reserve the right to exercise a lien on your cargo until all charges are paid in full.

5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete cargo information including HS codes
  • Ensuring proper packaging and labeling of goods
  • Obtaining necessary export/import licenses and permits
  • Providing correct pickup and delivery addresses
  • Being available for cargo delivery and inspection
  • Reporting any damage or discrepancies immediately upon receipt

6. INSURANCE COVERAGE

We provide door-to-door transportation insurance coverage with the following terms:

  • First-time customers receive free sea freight insurance
  • Insurance covers cargo from pickup to final delivery
  • Claims must be reported within 7 days of delivery
  • Photo documentation of damage is required for claims processing
  • Insurance coverage is subject to policy terms and conditions

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Our liability is limited to the terms of the applicable international conventions and our standard trading conditions. We shall not be liable for:

  • Delays caused by customs inspections or clearance procedures
  • Force majeure events including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions
  • Indirect, consequential, or special damages
  • Loss of profits or business opportunities

8. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through:

  • First, good faith negotiations between the parties
  • If unsuccessful, binding arbitration in Ningbo, China
  • Arbitration shall be conducted in English
